Data Scientist – Dallas, US
As a Data Scientist your role is to follow the data. Analyze, visualize, and model Financial Regulatory data. You will build and implement machine learning models and Natural Language processing models to make timely decisions. We are looking for a mixture between an Artificial Intelligence expert and business analyst someone who has passion for building and improving automation informed by data. The Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist shall be responsible for supporting the Zurik’s APAC Division efforts in maintaining the regulatory and compliance database and communicate regulatory updates and concepts to the global team. As a Zurik Regulatory Research Analyst, you become a Financial Regulations and policy expert. You analyze and interpret Regulatory data, and other policy that comes in many different forms: proposed and final rules, reports, publications, etc. This role presents an excellent opportunity to learn the basis of Financial regulations. Ingersoll Sivanthi is a Managing Partner and heads the Global operations of Zurik. He has more than 17 years of experience in various facets of the financial services industry. Inger is a specialist in managing regulatory and compliance change across domains such as asset management, private wealth management and banking. Prior to joining Zurik, Inger worked with Ruffer LLP, a London headquartered investment management firm that provides services to private clients, pension funds and trusts. Inger was in charge of business and regulatory compliance change across various functions within the firm.
Inger has also held senior positions in-charge of strategic business change for global financial institutions such as Blackrock and Citibank including Regulatory and Compliance change. His expertise spans across Front office, Middle office, Risk & control, Compliance (Pre & Post trade restrictions), Client reporting (Tax Packs & Valuations) to Operations Processing, Trade Processing and Trade Reporting, Reconciliations, and Settlements. He has created several workflows and systems to manage business and regulatory compliance change across asset classes such as Foreign Exchange derivatives, Swaps, Equity derivatives, options, swaptions, ETFs and fixed income (bonds).
Inger holds a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance & Information systems and a Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Allan Jardine heads the EMEA business of Zurik, based out of London. Allan is a specialist in financial services, with a strong domain expertise in international regulatory and compliance, as well as cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Allan has over 25 years of regional and international experience in the design, oversight and assessment of corporate and regulatory compliance, capital markets compliance, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions, fraud programs, and internal controls. Allan is seasoned in the executive and operating functions within public companies and the financial services industry, including consumer and commercial banking, investment banking, capital markets, insurance and wealth management.
Allan has extensive experience in remediating regulatory issues and has strong connections with European and international financial regulatory bodies, giving a unique insight into foreign and cross-border regulatory expectations.
Prior to Zurik, Allan was a senior executive at Infinity Partners, a Tokyo headquartered financial services and advisory firm managing the Asia Pacific operations of the firm, and a Principal of Altitude Partners LLC, a corporate advisory firm which works with firms in the areas of corporate regulatory compliance, restructuring, due diligence, turnaround as well as post acquisition integration for international Private Equity firms. This followed working for a specialist US investment bank, where he managed their Asian expansion.
Allan holds a BA in Asian Business, an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK), has studied at Sophia (Tokyo), China Europe International Business School (Shanghai), and is an ETP graduate of the European Commission.
Senior Vice President
Prabhu Antony heads Corporate Development and Strategy for Zurik. He is responsible for alliances, partnerships, joint ventures, capital raise and M&A for Zurik. He is a specialist in cross border M&A and Private Equity. He has consummated M&A deals valued over $3Bn in enterprise value, across 6 continents and 22 countries. In 2016, he was awarded ‘Investment Banker of the year’ by M&A Advisor forum, the leading industry consortium, in 2015 he was ranked among the top 5 cross border investment bankers in the US and the deal he led won the best US-Asia cross border deal of the year and in 2014 he was awarded the ’40 under 40’ Americas Dealmaker award . His sector expertise includes Enterprise technology services, Enterprise Software and consumer internet. In addition to his role at Zurik, he also heads the Mergers & Acquisition for the Americas at Zurik’s parent company – Sett & Lucas and the fund management group – Linus Ventures. As part of this role at Linus, a Princeton, New Jersey headquartered venture fund, he sits on the board of portfolio companies and helps drive investments, strategy, corporate finance and global expansion in consumer markets.
Prior to his stint with Zurik, he was the Vice President at MAPE Group, a top M&A advisory firm in Asia, where he was the head of Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) vertical and the US-Asia cross border M&A practice. Prior to joining MAPE, Prabhu had worked for more than 7 years in the technology sector for blue chip companies such as Cognizant, i-flex and Oracle where he managed corporate & business development, corporate strategy and M&A initiatives across London, US and India. He holds a Bachelors degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering, a Masters in business administration and a Post Graduate diploma in International business. He is an alumni of the Wharton school of the University of Pennsylvania and attended Harvard Business School to pursue his passion in the field of Disruptive Innovation.
Kevin Lowther is a Managing Partner who heads the North America sales operations of Zurik. He is a specialist in financial services technology with extensive international experience, where he has managed and launched a portfolio of information and trading desktop products and services. More recently Kevin had worked as a management consultant to many buyside and sell-side institutions, optimizing their information technology environments.
Kevin worked in the financial markets in New Zealand before becoming country manager for IRESS Technology where he built out the market share of their information and trading products to almost 90% over a three-year period. He then moved to London where he was a director at a specialist technology consultancy before joining Reuters as a global business manager in their institutional equities division overseeing and developing a portfolio of information and trading products. Kevin then returned to advising tier-1 banks and buyside institutions on data governance, business process outsourcing, compliance and information management. Kevin’s last role in London was that as a technical adviser for the MiFID II regulations implementation at a major UK wealth manager.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Auckland and has completed numerous post graduate courses in finance and psychology.
